Membership Application How Quick is the postal turnaround?

Hope this is of use Barri - my card and membership took an age to arrive I think it was about 3 months, but very importantly I got a letter almost immediately after I applied and it had the details of membership number and personal code on it. This enabled me to buy tickets on-line as a member and was also fine when I presented it at the ticket office to pick up the tickets booked.

I recently applied, September, and it took about 2weeks to recieve letter and then i posted pic, passport copy as soon as the letter came. Then the pack took about 3 weeks to come!

So 5 weeks is about right, might be a little touch and go!

Applied early September and letter with memebership number and clave arrived within 10 days.

Sent photo etc back about 4 weeks ago but no card yet.

Was at the Sevilla game last weekend and went to Memebrship Office to get card but they said it was processed and gave me a photocopy as proof if I wanted discounts.

Collected my match ticket with photocopy and credit card.

So from start to finish it is over 6 weeks so far...

I've sent both photo and passport scan to two different email addresses - so hopefully going "digital" will speed things up. No desperate rush for the card I suppose but I would like the code numbers asap.

If you don't get your soci no etc in about 2/3 weeks, email the OAB and tell them you're planning a visit and are waiting to book tickets. Within a week of doing so, i got my whole membership package delivered.

Was looking at the membership thing didnt see the point of me signing up as i certainly wont be going to matches any time soon,was a bit pricey too but then im a poor student.

In truth the cost of membership is not worth paying if you are not going to see any games although plenty of people have membership just to feel part of the club and be a member of the controlling body of FC Barcelona. I myself only signed up for membership when I knew I would be seeing games on a regular basis but now that I am a soci I will never relinquish my membership.

As an update, as I know there is at least one other board member waiting on membership, I received an email from OAB today saying that my membership pack (I'm assuming including the card as I sent photo/passport scan by email) is "in distribution" (?) posted ? and will be with me either this week or next. It's a day under 3 weeks since I applied.
