Barca really don't need Ozil. Eveyone jumping on the Ozil gravy train just because he looked good in the WC does not mean he do well at Barca.

It was like when Barca purchased Alfonso from betis after he impressed in Euro 2000. Look how crap he was at Barca.

I reckon it's clear that Ozil is already a damn good player who will shortly be a flaming' great player .
He looks taylor-made for Barca IMHO .

He's also a lifelong Barca fan and available at a bargain price due to his contract having only a year left meaning he can leave for free next summer !!

ozil is very young... would be good if we can pick him up now and mold him to our liking.. xavi and iniesta rnt getting ne younger... if we bring on ozil now we could have him mentored by xavi who is now 30 and looks like he has another couple years as a starter but after that he wont be able to play 70+ minutes... i think bringing in ozil would be a good idea for that reason

and yes every1 is jumpin on the ozil bandwagon, but thats normal after big tournaments like WC and euro cup... but i dont hate masch but i think ozil would be a better pick, specially if we looking for a long term franchise player
