The venue is disputed. It may be changed, Platini said. I really hope they do, I have a bad feeling about playing in that stadium. It may also be very cold in May during the final.

What is the source to that news?

when el nou camp nou is done have it there, would do wonders for promoting the 50th anniversary even if it were a year or two late

There is something about seeing another club lifting the European Cup in our own back yard i don't like. I personally would love to see the final at the Bernabéu and to see us win it there.

@ Dino: The Stade de France hosted the final twice in 6 years (2000 and 2006) so if UEFA really wanted the final at the Camp Nou, they would do it since 8 years is a long enough period.

True. We already had some luck when we got it in 1999 as we hosted it 10 years prior. For that reason I cannot see us getting it soon again.

We've got a real shot when the Nou Camp remodelling ends. We'll probably top favourites to get the nod. However, I don't see it happening now and exactly because of this. They're saving it for the occassion.
