I think Zoney should out himself up as a candidate for the reial madrid presidency, his CV would make him a frontrunner for the job:

BUY! BUY! BUY! fetish

Managers who win the european cup but don't do it well enough are out on their ear

Constant stream of negativity when it comes to Barça

Zoney...you've found your vocation in life :lmao:

I though too that we lost it, Arsenal's defense seemed impenetrable. But thank God we received that goal in the first half and we had time to recover and strike back... Can you imagine what would have happened if Campbell had scored after the 70th minute ?

As soon as Lehmann got sent off I thought this would be Chelsea all over again - they'd score, we'd get the kick start we needed, then win. Right on cue, Eboue dived, we conceded and Edmilson and Van Bommel continued to be useless in midfield.

When I saw Iniesta was coming on I started smiling because we'd be so much more secure in possession and he'd actually make accurate crisp passes. But, by around 70 min I was having serious doubts. They were organised and played 8 men behind the ball, Deco was falling over and making loose passes, REG were trying hard but not really achieving anything and Oleguer was getting skinned by Ljunberg.

It was a carbon copy of all the games when the opposition camp in their own half, whether with 10 or 11 players and just defend like crazy and hope for the best. We'd take it easy and have no intensity, struggle and get frustrated and then in the 87th minute Eto'o would score an equaliser and force a draw.

Then Belletti came on about a minute later and later the breakthrough came. Honestly I would have seriously considered starting Belletti simply for his speed. But everything worked out well in the end. We stayed patient and Rijkaard made the right subs :D
