I don't know the details, but I would imagine we sold him for the same reason that every other club has ever sold him...great player, but his training/lifestyle habits left something to be desired.

If anyone has a copy of Jimmy Burns's book Barca: A People's Passion, I'm pretty sure there's something about it in there.
Now Belletti, the substitute...Larsson, who brings so much experience and know-how to the cause...Belletti...oh it's in!

Only found out yesterday he has passed Puskas as the 2nd highest goalscorer in football history

What a player, a deadly finisher :prayer:

Yeah, think he's playing in Miami. Only Pele has reached 1000 career goals, i sure hope Rom gets there too. Best hurry up though, as he's no spring chicken.

He should get passed 1000, but I don't think he will beat Pele's 1281 goals record

Giggs - "Romario, he was just lightning over three yards, it really was unbelievable to watch. Romario would do a Cryuff turn and before you knew it, he'd be gone. He'd leave players for dead and whip the ball into the back of the net. He had a real arrogance and swagger to him as well" :prayer: :prayer: :prayer: :prayer:

He's playing for Miami in USA. I remember the 5-0 thrashing, him scoring a hattrick. The first goal is amazing.
