Honestly I don't think Bayern, Lyon and Inter are all that great. I still believe Barca can go through and win at the Burnacow.

How can you even say that? Ribery's challenge was bad but it certainly wasn't red card worthy. I certainly saw several other tackles that were just as bad and resulted in just free kicks.

Toulalan's send off was FAR clearer. He should of got a straight red when he blatantly hacked down Robben. It was worse than Ribery's tackle AND actually denied a potential fast break. His second challenge was studs up and reckless and came less than 5 minutes after his first yellow. Nothing to complain about especially considering the harshness of Ribery's send off. It was justified in itself, but also helped to balance the game.

Ribery went in over the ball, planted all his weight on the guy's standing leg and it was clear that he never had any intention of playing the ball. A potential leg breaker. It wasn't out of control, it was a fully controlled effort to do another player real damage, and that is far worse.

The reason they sent the Lyon player off is because Schweinsteiger rolled around theatrically after both went in with their feet up and both made full contact with the ball. There was nothing else in it. You can't book one and not the other just because one feigns injury.

Neither really deserved to be in the semis. I think we can all agree Bayern should be flattered to be in the Final, although it would be infinitely ironic if Robben and Bayern won...

Also, can we now agree the refereeing in the CL this year has been woeful?

In almost every tie I have witnessed, the officiating has been pretty appalling, Art, yes. Fair play to Bayern tonight, they deserved to go through in this one. I really hope they don't win the final though. I'll pray to the Lord that they don't, lol.

Count me in for Bayern! Sorry Viva_Ronaldo, but I still don't agree that Inter were better than us over the two legs, which is why I hope thy get burned, whatever the means!

This is Bayern Munich we're talking about, the level of assistance they've had in reaching the final must be mentioned here... I know you're sore after going out to Inter when you were the attacking side in both legs and possibly got a raw deal... but, if Inter are a bit lucky, what are Bayern? And there's no doubt Bayern are the dirtier of the two sides in the way they cynically play act.

Thinking about it, this is going to be a pretty poor final compared to last year's.

I agree, I have no sense of anticipation for the final whatsoever. I will most definitely watch it, but that doesn't mean I have to enjoy it.

I prefer Byern to win CL, for one obvious reason and I other reason is that I do like the way Olic is playing recently.

Not if Mourinho goes Madrid it won't. Mourinho is a clever ****** and he knows how to beat Barca. Honestly I'm afraid if he goes Madrid then Barca may be trophy less.
