I agree.

I did think in the second half we started thinking about Saturday, which could have landed us in a lot of trouble. 4-1 flattered us tbh.

I hope Abidal is OK and that we did keep our A-Game for Saturday, and it wasn't just fatigue or loss of focus, because if it was Madrid will **** us in the ass. Hard.

We had a good score and we've lost Abidal. It was a logical decision to slow things down to avoid other injuries. We weren't tired at all.
If the scums think that, they'll be disappointed.

Milito, Messi and Xavi Men of the match.

The rest were a bit meh to be honest.

Credit to Arsenal for some good pressing and then that second half slump we're unfortunately getting used to.
Como mola Pep Guardiola.

Marquez at fault for the first goal but otherwise played well. Hope Abidal's not out.

Otherwise......

Ditto, though he was poor offensively. But he harassed well defensively and was the only player beside Messi actually taking shots. A better day and those hit the target.

Anyone else think Alves was pretty meh going forward? Had a good game defensively but I feel like his linkup with Messi was absent. Could just be that Messi was playing more centrally, but Alves is far more effective with a linkup man. Don't think Pedro really linked up with him enough.
I'll give you a memorable quote after you pass me that beer and shot.

we really witnessed the best football action of our generation.. messi was outstanding ! now we have to face INTER.. and believe me.. i dont like INTER's tactic.. most probably they will try to play roughly wid millions of fouls just like the games in the group stages..

In Pep we trust, right?
Pep's in charge, we also have Cruyff giving advices, we have the best team in the world and the best attitude. Why so serious? Have faith!!! :D
After this we'll have Inter with Mourinho, Eto'o&co. Anyone else not sure that we'll be in the Madrid Final?
If we do this, not only we would've succeed to win CL 2 seasons in a row(which is a record, making us the very first team doing it since the new format) and also, not to mention, we would lift the cup above our heads on the muthafuckin' burnacow!!!(pardon my french)
Last season we won all the trophies! This season we will win supremacy!

Stop building castles in the air...we have a long way to go... dont be so over-confident

Told ya :D

Don't you remember last year's bashing on burnacow? Messi scored twice, Henry twice, Puyol and Pique once in the net of the "best keeper in the world". I don't think he is the best! Look at the statistics. Casillas has conceded 26 goals in La Liga while Valdes only 19. Last year, Valdes won the Zamora, not Casillas! Also, this season in CL Casillas has conceded 9 goals in 8 matches while Valdes conceded only 7 in 10 matches. How can Casillas be better than Valdes? If Casillas is the best keeper in the world, then Valdes is the best keeper in the universe.

That was beautiful.
I finally got to watch the match on the DVR.
Awesome.
Defense was a little meh at points but we'll have Puyols and Pique this weekend. And Iniesta too hopefully.

casillas conceded more goals because his defence is crappy and we have some of the best defenders in the world. I'm not saying valdez is bad, i think he's the 2nd best keeper in la liga. If you compare the amount of saves made by the keeper, i think casillas would easily win.

Number of saves is not always good measure of the quality of a goalkeeper. A good goalkeeper who controls his area and prevents a lot shots may have fewer saves than a less comanding goalkeeper who may have more saves but probably concedes more goals as well.

Casillas is a outstanding keeper but he hasn't been the best goalkeeper in Spain for at least this year (Valdes has been hands down in my view) nor the top goalkeeper in the world for a couple of years (Julio Cesar.)
