Wtf is wrong with you two? We had 2 denied certain goals: the first one in the first leg when we were denied a penalty and a second one in the second leg when they've called handball to yaya! They've won with an offside goal! We've had possession over 65% in both legs and we've had lots of shots on goal! How can you say we didn't deserve to be in the final? How many times did we have to score so you guys can be pleased?
The first leg should've ended 2-2 and the second one 2-0 and 4-2 on agg for us! Isn't that enough for you in a semi-final?

The Special One wrote:Bobo and Mania are right, I have no idea why some of you are deluding yourselves. We quite simply weren't sharp enough over the two legs and the refereeing decisions that went against us may have been tough but they did not decide the eventual outcome of this tie. Milito's goal was the only blatant mistake (as far as the big calls), the others were debatable. In any case, we shouldn't blame the refs for this defeat. Inter were the better team at San Siro and the 3-1 scoreline was a fair reflection of the 90 minutes. At Camp Nou they were a man down for well over an hour and we still couldn't find a way through their defensive wall.
Luck favored us last year, it deserted us this time. It may be back next year, who knows? But let us try not to be sore losers like the Chelsea bunch.

i agree, but we really need to find something new against those bus parking teams. we have been sucking against them for many years and cant seem to find solution. dont want us to have this "if we get lucky" thing every time we meet Manu, Chelsea or Inter type of squad

Hang on a minute, you can't really put United in the same bracket as Inter. The most we ever parked the bus against Barca was the first leg away from home in 2008, and for the last 10 minutes of the second leg at home when we were 1.0 up on aggregate. Last year's final was a 50/50 share of the possession, though Barca were the obvious better side, just as we were in the second leg of the 2008 tie at Old Trafford. Possession and territory only tells you so much about a game. The best way to play against Barca is to allow them to have the lion's share of possession but put lots of pressure on the Barca back four whenever they get it, as Inter did at the San Siro. Jose set up tactically (in the first leg, the second was pure defense), exactly as I've been saying that any team who wishes to beat you needs to set up.
