FRANK OUT!!!

What's he done wrong this time?

FRANK OUT!!!

Postby Xavi_is_god » Tue Mar 08, 2005 11:02 pm

Here's why.

The man does not know how to manage a team
he has no idea of the tactics that need to be used
he does not know how to motivate players
one questions his trainging - he expects players to run and run
he does not know how to use subs
he does not know what players to use on the bench
he expects the team to go out on the pitch and work by itself.
A manager needs to be a 12th player, a leader. Frank is neither, last season we had davids who lead the team he was a manager on the park. This season we have nobody to do this. Mark my words with Davids we would of won tonight and against the likes of Espanyol, Athletico etc. When the going gets tough he would have everyone in line.

Frank out. Now.

agree by certain means:

however, dare you bare the danger of having a worth manager? anyhow, rijkaard brings us a lot of happiness.

having similar feeling with u, i think modern football is not simply speed and attack. chelsea showed us one thing - efficiency. rijikaard's team lacks efficiency, thus not that convincing and not strong enough to be the no-doubt champion. and when they are facing effecient team such as AC milan or chelsea which has real world class attackers or defenders, their weakness shows.

do not agree with that you said frank did not know how to use subs: i think it is because there are too many got hurt, who are on the sub lists are not good enough to play for barca. last season, when we got a lot of people, i think frank did pretty well in the arrangement.

about davids, rijikaard wants him stay - certainly. however, what the dutch wants is going to inter milan. he makes use of our team's interest on him to bargin with italian. if u were barca's boss, would you accept such a player?

Yeah, lay off Frank.

Although why he stuck with Iniesta in the second half is beyond me!

Why he didn't put Maxi on earlier is beyond me.

He has managed us well thus far.
They seem fine and fit when they play.
He has had limited options all season.
Eriksson won alot without screaming or shouting.
Not his fault Davids didn`t stay.

knee jerk reaction there.
Top of league by 8 points - id say thats how to manage a team.
top of league by 8 points - id say his tactics arent doing to bad.
only lost 3 league games - easier to motivate a team thats winning than a losing side.
expect players to run and run - yes its a sport what you expect them to do??
subs- got me there
not know what players to use - well his choices are pretty limited at the moment .
Expecting team to work by itself - yes well its worked pretty well so far this season.

So...
I think Frank is doing a very good job. Why do you wnat him out? He's leading us to the title...
And who would you like to have in his place? Please, don't say Ronald Koeman. Ronald should retire from football.

He has only just started coaching when you look closesly and he is still youngish so that won`t happen, If Rijkaard did go which would pain me because it`s so Barca like to be rid of managers in a flash then Deschamps would be my man, However Frank is also very young and he hasn`t done much wrong for me(We are BARCA fans and thus we moan when the slightest problem goes wrong e.g. a unlucky result and then its white hanky time but that mentallity needs changing) The most succesful sides have a coach for long periods E.G. Arsenal and more so Man Utd thus we should follow in example. We don`t come on here and go Frankie is the best coach ever for doing that, Like when he brung Maxi on to win the game at Camp Nou(In Hindsight it is probably meaningless) but you get my point,It`s so easy to criticise people when slip-ups occur but especially with us Cules it`s so hard to praise the coach when he does well, Frank should stay because any coach who win`s La Liga with so many key-men out for so long a period deserves a big pat on the back and if we do wrap the domestic campaign up in style then howmany will say woohoo Frank Rijkaard the main man - Not alot sorry to say it will be Ronaldinho this and Eto`o that,You all may think I`m miles off with this one but thats what I percieve with us lot, He is a good coach on the verge of becoming a top notch one!

So lets not jump down his neck because our defense minus Puyol was still sipping Sangria & Estrella Damn back in the Ramblas!

Cheers,
