Guys, If you throw away your great hatred for Real, you'll see both clubs are very similar.

NO WAY JOSE. Don't ever compare the Blaugrana with the fascist scum in white.

ow are Barca and real similar, Mancs? Barca approach the game in a totally different way. Not just that, they also approach things in a completely different way off the field.

Liverpool are of course THE enemy but Real Madrid are also scumbags.

Oh. well, I still think they both have many similarities; rich clubs, very popular world-wide, both play attacking (both got kicked in Europe :D ).
I agree they have differnet tactics, but Just as a fan of a foreign club, i think they are kinda the same, aren't they?

Liverpool, our enemy? :? I guess Liverpool were fighting with Everton and Spurs for the 4th place last season  while we had the title in our hands, so I don't count them as our enemy. our true enemy is the rich London club, Chelsea fc.

Whilst they can still boast two more European cups and one more 1st division trophy than us, they will always be THE enemy.

What irritates more than anything else is all those times we would have won the European cup and our league had nearly all of our team not died in 58. But that's all in the past now, the future is always the one thing that has to be addressed.

Chelsea are nothing, historically. Liverpool and United are the two most successful English clubs. Notts forest are more successful than Chelsea.

History is important, but I don't rate it so highly afterall, I'm kinda sure all Liverpool fans and Nottingham forest's ones wish to be in the place of Chelsea.

Chelsea were never a weak team either, they were like Tottenham before 90's. but they have, it seems, improved a lot and now they are challenging all great european teams including Manchester United.
Liverpool, however, completely fell down to a lower level in the early 90's, their way got tougher and tougher.
And about nottingham forest, where are they now? 2nd devision? i guess.
We, of course, are much more successful than Chelsea even in recent years, but they still are good challengers.

Good. Starting against a recently promoted squad should build a bit of confidence...

On Pep's Barca Transfer page, he made the observation that Madrid plays the team we played the week before throughout the season. Meaning Madrid gets a team that has just prepared for usthe week before. Suspicious?

We play the team coming off a match with Sevilla each week...
