I think this is the only option which would suit us if Pep disbands Eto'o from a team.

We have Henry and Bojan, so no need to panic. We would be better off looking for another Larsson type transfer, or spending less money on a target man that can come off the bench, not a big name, expensive player.

Dean Ashton would be quality.

Agree on this one from one aspect. Yes Henry and Bojan are completely enough, taking in consideration the presumption that both of our strikers will have a full season without injuries. Just imagine, Henry gets injured for a longer time, who are we placing to take the place of the first team player with the same amount of quality and aptitude. No sir, Dean Ashton nor any Larsson kind of players could not take that role (for a shorter period of time yes). Just imagine playing with players like Ashton, Crouch or Trezeguet, etc. playing throughout the whole season. Otherwise I agree with you, it'd be nice to have a Larsson-like player back in the squad but only in a reserve role.

Seriously though, Ashton (who is a starter for west Ham :roll:

) would be perfect for a player to come off the bench when we needed a little more of a physical presense in matches.
