Gai Assulin and the Israelian National team

Gai Assulin has rejected to participate in the next match his country's national team will perform against Bulgaria in the sub 21 Eurocup. The reason is that he wants to rest and prepare properly for the next season with FC Barcelona, his father says.

This new has not been well diggested by the Israel coach, who calls this gesture "shamefull", and threats that this could damage incoming relations between the player and the national team.

There is a solution to that. Get Spanish Citizenship and Play for Espana instead.

There is a solution to that. Get Spanish Citizenship and Play for Espana instead.

Could be. It all depends on if he gets the Spanish Citizenship before the next season begins. Maybe he already got it, who knows... I hope he'll be in the first team!

And is he really that good? What position does he play? I heard that he is good, but never watched him.
