Norwich may have made good business, West Ham haven`t. Seemed a bit like you think Ashton is worth 7 Million. Pardrew even said he got ripped off.

How can you say West Ham haven't, when he's not even kicked a ball for them yet?

Only time will tell if he's worth it, i don't know the future.

From what I have seen have Mr. Ashton I wouldn`t rate him a 7 Million (This being my point). I think you could payh much less for a as effective or maybe more Striker. Pandiani went for little and Morientes was even cheaper than that. Each to their own I guess.

Thats football though isn't it. Peter Crouch is another 7mill man, also worth more than Morientes. But he's producing the goods even though he was slated for ages.

Yes indeed but I just think club's are too hasty at times and many other cheaper strikers can be better buy's all round.

west ham also sold a right back for 6m,a couple of seasons ago
7m for a match winner,seems about the going rate....
