He includes youth team and non-competitive goals in his count, don't think it will be recognised officially but he will no doubt.

To Bardh: If he scored one more he would have been level with Stoichkov as top goalscorer. I dont remember one football club having 2 best topgoalscorers in WC

To Eldiablo: Indeed, it`s not recognised officially. But Pele lived in times when many of football players were amateurs. And I say that literally. So even his record has its shadows.

Romário has more "offiacial" goals than Pelé. Pelé has some 700 goals, Romário has about 900... Pelé puts all the goals he scored in the youth teams, just like Romário. The difference is that Fifa wanted to give it to Pelé, what didn't happen to Puskas, and probably will not happend to Romário.

Also Pele lived in times where results like 7-5 were common.
