It was a brillint chest down and chip over the keeper and the two Bayern defenders on the goal line.

They called it David vs. Goliath. Bravo Getafe, well deserved. They played a bit scared in the start but can you blame them?

As for Barca focus:
Laudrup proved himself once more
Lahm was ok. Although the goal did come from his side. (He moved to the LB once Lell got in)

I was really happy for Getafe. Such a small team to achieve such a feat, amazing. They had numerous other chances and could have scored more. They played very well but Bayern was crap in general.

that's right, bayern was real crap.
except the first 30 min, but they were too stupid to score a 2nd or 3rd goal. then it seemed to me they didn't feel like playing football anymore, and getafe started to loose their fear.
although bayern had some more chances in 2nd half (ribery, toni), it was 100% deserved for getafe.

but i think it will be harder for getafe in the 2nd game, 'cause bayern will be more motivated then because of this game yesterday.

Getafe are now in the perfect chance. They beat both Barca and Sevilla this season at home. Bayern will have a hard time. They will need to attack and that will suit Getafe who likes to play counter

i know what you mean, but bayern prooved several times this season that they are strong enough to play for win AND do not risk too much in defense.
demichelis plays his best season this year (except the fault before the 1:1), lucio is almost constant, and lahm/jansen also do well.

my only hope is that hitzfeld will give josé sosa or toni kroos a chance.
i think they're very good players who just didn't get the chance to find into the team yet.
in any case they're better than schweinsteiger, who gets worse and worse since the world cup. you couldn't even see him in the 2nd half...

i still do not understand hitzfeld's changes! why ottl for van bommel??? okay VB was sick just before the game, but in my opinion he was the best player in the bayern team until then.
and lell??? totally stupid, because there was no reason to change anything in the defense line.
he should have substituted schweinsteiger -> sosa and 3rd substitute just before the final whistle.

but why am i wondering, sometimes the bayern fans feel like schweinsteiger is hitzfeld's favourite....

He is a home boy so it`s understandable. They should retire Kahn, sell Podolski and cash in on Lucio while they can. One creative midfielder would do wonders for them. It`s strange they don`t want VdV?

it's not that they do not want him (although he is doing quite bad the 2nd half of the season), but he doesn't.
he told that he was offered to bayern before he joined hamburg, and bayern said he wouldn't be good enough.
now he doesn't want to go there because of that.

and i would prefer a player from another league.
me personally i would have prefered riquelme, but bayern's scouts think he wouldn't strengthen the team.
maybe modric, but as long as the english teams are bidding for him, bayern has no chance...

i defenetlely agree with lucio. podolski will improve when klinsmann is coach.

but schweinsteiger???
did anyone see the game vs. bochum today?
it seems he has two left legs at the time, as we say in germany.

ps: lahm stated these days he is about to sign a new contract with bayern within the next week...

That's what happened when they played Bolton, they dominated, scored and then didn't think much of going for a second and killing the match which resulted in Bolton, the same Bolton who are getting relegated this season, getting a draw.

Yeah Diaz, heard that about Lahm too. He played on the left again today, at least from what I saw of the game.

Epic struggle for Getafe. They are 1 up and they`ve been playing with 10 men since 6th minute!

This is why I like football.
