Who is Valencias best player at the moment?
Who is their topscorer?
Who is that Valencia player who was rumoured to be signing for Barca this pre-summer?

Oh, and the best one..

Who is confirmed injured, and out for the next 2-3 weeks? Including the next game vs Barcelona?

The answer is...

David Villa.

And.. oh... I kid you not!

Could be a banana peel, however I dont think it will be.

Valencia has loads of players away for the nationalgames aswell. (Silva, Joaquin, Marchena)

And without their key-figure for the Barcelona game, they will most likely play Nikola Žigić as the front forward.

The Serbian international featured in only 17 games for Valencia, and scored 2 goals. (Scary is it not?)

I'm not sure if Messi will be in the starting lineup since he probably won't be back before Friday night and could be suffering from jet lag and tiredness. But Henry's averaging > 1.0 goal per game against Los Che (7 in 6 if I'm not mistaken), so this is the perfect time for him to step up and end his little goal drought.

too bad, but henry wont play. it's pretty much up to messi and (if) ibrahimovic as a joker, i dont know if he will be in the starting 11 since he's also bruised from internationals. luckily our midfield machinery is up and running, with xavi and iniesta getting used to the rythm of la liga again.. :prayer:

Valencia Must Always Be Hungry To Win - Unai Emery

The coach has called for los Che to replicate their away form at the Mestalla...

After three consecutive league wins away from home, Valencia coach Unai Emery wants his side to show their fighting spirit and will to win in front of their home fans.

Los Che have drawn their last three domestic fixtures at the Mestalla, although Emery knows that Real Zaragoza will be a tough nut to crack when the teams take to the pitch on Sunday evening.

"The team must not get tired of winning," the young coach told Marca.

"We have to get on the right track at the Mestalla. I'm expecting a good Zaragoza - they will be closed up and tight together, but they have good footballers.

"They leave you to get confident and then make a counter-attack and, moreover, they pressure you a lot. I believe they're a good side and I thought they would be higher up [in the league]."

Debt-ridden Valencia: It's A "Miracle" We're Still Alive

Debt-ridden Valencia's survival is a miracle and they may be forced to sell their top players, vice president Javier Gomez said on Saturday.

Valencia, who have debts of more than €500 million euros, were bailed out by the regional government when they agreed to guarantee a loan of €74 million in August.

Gomez said the club needed to find another €44 million this season and did not rule out selling Spain internationals David Villa and David Silva.

"Valencia is in a very bad situation economically," he said in an interview with the sports daily As. "I wouldn't say ruined because there is a chance of getting through this situation. If I had thought three months ago Valencia would still be alive now, to me that's a miracle."

The lack of cash has forced the club to halt work on a new stadium and Gomez said cutting debt would now have to take priority.

"Our wish would be to start building work again tomorrow but until it's clear there is money to pay for construction of the new stadium without impacting the day-to-day running of the club there will no cash freed up," he said. "Valencia cannot allow itself to revert to losing money and Valencia will not revert to losing money."

Valencia stadium plans back on track

Valencia have reached an agreement on outstanding debt with the construction group building their new stadium so that work can be restarted, the Spanish club said on Monday.

UTE, a building group made up of firms FCC and Bertolin, will begin work again on the new arena, which was halted early last year, as soon as administrative details and financing are arranged, Valencia revealed on their official website.

"The club's intention is that once the work has restarted it will not stop again until the first team can play in the new stadium," they added.

The Nou Mestalla - currently being built in the northern suburbs of the city - had been due to open in August 2009 with a 75,000 capacity, but the club's recent financial problems have put that date back.

The current Mestalla - which hosted Spain's opening match of the 1982 World Cup, as well as 1992 Summer Olypics matches - was built in 1923 but has now reached its peak capacity of 55,000,

The financial difficulties of Valencia had interrupted the construction work on the new €200 million stadium but the problems between the club and construction companies now appear to have been resolved.
