I know he thinks he is, though I would call him mulatto, with a lean closer to white than black.

Although I know how cool it is right now to proclaim yourself black when you're equally white...

Real Madrid's Iker Casillas: Those who did not see Sergio Busquets racially abuse Marcelo must be blind
Spanish international questions Uefa's stance over the Busquets - Marcelo racial row, and feels that the images speak for themselves

Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas has stated his disbelief that Uefa did not take further action against Barcelona's Sergio Busquets for alleged racial abuse towards Marcelo in the side's recent Champions League semi-final encounter.

Madrid brought a case against Busquets in which they claimed he had called Marcelo "a monkey",
but the Catalan midfielder was not charged by the governing body.

Casillas told Marca that he finds it hard to accept those responsible for looking into the allegations failed to recognise what had been said.

He blasted: "Everyone saw the images and if Uefa says something else, what can I say? I’m not calling on anything [in terms of punishment] for a team-mate and friend of mine, but the images are there [for all to see]. Those who say he did not say it – I think they must be blind.

"It is Barca-Madrid, you are playing for a place in the final and you can lose your head at any given moment. I don’t know if Marcelo said anything to Busquets beforehand, but the cameras have caught Sergio so I don’t understand [why there is no punishment].

"I have a great relationship with Busquets. He’s a really nice guy, an excellent person and I can’t say a bad word about him.

"But on the pitch there are times when he has a hot head because there is so much at stake. He defends Barcelona and I defend Real Madrid. In a given moment, he does something and makes a mistake, but there’s no point dwelling on it. Wise people rectify."

The Spanish international shot-stopper then answered questions over the possibility that the relationship between Real Madrid and Barcelona players has been soured by the ill-feeling during the recent quartet of Clasicos.

He continued: "I haven’t spoken to Xavi for a month and a half. When the time comes to meet up with the national team, we’ll see each other, say three or four things and everything will be sorted out instantly.

"What worries me is that the press will jump to the wrong conclusion in a training session and will think that an [Alvaro] Arbeloa kick on [David] Villa means there is conflict. They will be looking out for the gestures and expressions, for anything – and that is not good."

Madrid welcome Almeria to the Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday evening for their final La Liga match of the season.

Captain of Spain. Making false claims (in my opinion) against a team member. What a leader.

He's 30 and he's screwing up the NT with his inability to lead and maintain the peace among the players. Also, he hasn't been the gk of the year in la liga for quite a few years. I say that it's time that Puyol or Xavi to be captained and make room for this guy, who won the Zamora for 3 years in a row and who also did this this season:

and recently this:

On the subject before about Alves being or white - he's neither! He's carioca or pardo, same as Ronaldinho, Adriano, Ronaldo(the real one), Rivaldo etc.
