Watching the game in London Town

Postby davidenks » Tue May 10, 2011 6:26 pm

Hi Guys, just wondering if anyone will be watching the game in London or know anywhere good with a lot of Cules. Last time i watched the final against Manchester i watched it in a pub with no Barca fans and it was a crap atmosphere at the final whistle. I then got chucked out of a club for repeatedly putting my Barca top on (I was told to take it off at the door). So this time if we win i want to celebrate in style.
Pleas let me know if you have any ideas. Thanks.
Hope this is the right thread and all that.

As a member I could get a ticket for the Wembley match. I'll sit near Shakira  . Is anybody else there on 28th?

Hey guys, I'm in Edinburgh and have my train ticket booked for the morning of the 28th. I'm hoping to hell they put up screens in Hyde Park or somewhere because there's going to be 1000's without tickets. Unfortunately the majority will be Man Utd but if you get wind of any pro-Barcelona areas to gather please post!

Hi there, my name is Steve and I work for BBC Radio 5 Live. We would love to chat to Barca fans on Saturday and/or Sunday morning who are going to the game on Saturday and who are going to watch it in bars or restaurants. If you would be interested in popping in to our studio on either morning then give me a call on 02086249508 or email me on steven.bland@bbc.co.uk.
Cheers,
Steve

So far the most neutral zones are around Baker Street and Trafalgar square so there won't be any red devil problems around there but I will be in London at around 2-ish tomorrow after school to find any pro-barcelona places so watch this space.

Good shout manj24, we'll be near Marylebone so a visit to Trafalgar Sq would not be too difficult and very picturesque for a culé invasion. Maybe see you there, i'll be with a very excited 8 year old with a huge Barça flag.

Yh yh for sure. After the match if Barcelona win then I will leave for Trafalgar square straight from Wembley. :D Normally there are hotels with their bars or restaurants for travelling team's fans - in our case Barca but I can't find many at the moment. I know that there should be some around.

Bradley's Spanish bar in Hanway street off oxford street i'll be in there with a few barca fans. All Spanish bars around there, if that fails i'll head where the crowd go. forgot to take my barca shirt with me (just moved house and couldnt find it) so gotta go buy another one tomorrow!
