b4 he came we had just had one of the worst seasons in our history and in the space of two years he has completely turned it around. fair enough he sometimes does make the wrong subs or team selection, and that did cost us the chance of winning the CL, but all in all hes done a good job.

the team that he's got and the way he's got them playing is superb. the club needs 2 build on this sucsess 2 make sure that we r going 2 be challenging every season for top hounours. if we r going 2 sack him we may end up with a manager who plays a different style and it may not fit in with the players that weve got. then we may end up where we found ourselves 2 years ago.

I agree. We need to build on consistency. It's no good bringing in a new manager who will simply put us through the whole upheaval process again. Winning La Liga in his second season will be a great achievement especially when he has done it without sacrificing the Barca style.

Precisely, I think he was keen to get a DM as Davids had turned our fortunes around in the previous season and we clearly need someone of his calibre in that position.

Ok here is the deal. I say we keep Frank if Barca finishes 1st this season, if not, sorry but he has to leave. If Barca does finish 1st, we sign a contract that will keep him here for another year. If Barca doesn't prove to be in good form until 1 January 2006, we will have to look for another coach. If Barca does, we keep Frank all the way.

i just cant see any reason not to give him a couple more years after this one. if we improve take it from there and if it all goes pair shaped consider his future and this way everyone knows where they stand.

Reason? Where is CL? Where is any other cup like Copa Del Rey e.g. Managers must win cups. If they don't, then WHAT'S THE REASON TO STAY you tell me! Even La Liga is being risked with his bad tactics. Rijkaard is very famous for screwing it up right in the end!

The thing is that we can't afford to wait another 2 years. We've been outside the top for 5 years, and we need to show the world what we're made off. Last season 2nd place in La Liga was fantastic, much better than we could hope for. Well, this year 2nd place just ain't good enough. This is our last chance of winning something this season so Rijkaard better not screw this up!
